Outreach
Introduction
Jim Swinehart (pointing) and Jim Goeke (far left), CSD/SNR Research Geologists, lead a field trip in the Nebraska Sand Hills - June, 2003. |
The Conservation and Survey Division (CSD) has a large and wide-ranging scope of outreach activities. Each year, CSD participates in a number of conventions, workshops, professional meetings, etc. At many of these events, CSD hosts an information booth.
CSD faculty and staff are frequently called upon to give natural resource-related presentations to numerous groups such as K-12 schools, post-secondary institutions, civic groups and many other public, private and non-profit entities.
